After an intense couple of weeks of classes and field trips to learn about Rwanda's history, we spent the weekend relaxing on Lake Kivu. The students (and the staff) enjoyed taking a boat ride, hiking on one of the islands, and discovering that cows can swim.
On Sunday, we will travel to a town outside of Kigali where the students will work with Food for the Hungry staff to interview Rwandan households in an area where the organization is beginning to work with vulnerable households. Classes in Rwanda are wrapping up, and students are starting to get excited about practicum, which is just around the corner!
